Who's Auditing Your Auditor?
It's a little known fact - if you are doing internal audits or using a third party service, you must audit THAT party's work at least annually.
Clean Reviews - Good Quality Loans or Poor Quality Reviews?
We all love getting clean reviews - they tell us that we are doing a great job at producing clean loans, right? Maybe. What if the audit is missing major elements? Would you rather find out about a problem when your investor issues a buyback or deficiency report?
Missing the Point - Improve Your Procedures to Eliminate Problem Areas
One of the purposes of the production quality control plan is to identify problems before they become big problems. Users of our Mortgage Management System will note that they are looking for the same things at the beginning of the process that they are at the end.
Failure to continually modify your production quality control elements - checklists, procedures and employee duties - can result in deficiencies at the worst possible time: when markets make a major move and your sold loan gets re-priced.

MAJOR REVISION
Complete Product Upgrade - to organize the product in a more cohesive manner, we divided the compliance elements from the Quality Control Plan to create two separate modules. In addition, we had FNMA and FHA reviewers edit the plan for compliance with requirements and made their recommended changes - more focus on Pre-Funding components, occupancy re-verifications, SSN verifications and many others.
This means the Quality Control Plan will be ready to submit right out of the box .
